Our field hockey program was born from a deep belief in the transformative power of sport — not just to develop athletes, but to shape confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. At Albion Field Hockey Club, we are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and high-quality environment for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether your child is picking up a stick for the first time or has years of experience, our mission is to ensure every player feels valued, supported, and inspired.

We believe that every athlete, regardless of their current ability, deserves equal opportunity — to learn, to compete, and to thrive. That means access to exceptional coaching, individualized attention in training, and the chance to participate in travel and competitive opportunities, no matter which team they are on. Our coaches are dedicated not only to developing great field hockey players, but also great people — emphasizing teamwork, leadership, and personal growth both on and off the field.

As one of the first programs of its kind in Houston, we are also passionate about growing the game throughout the region. We are working hard to introduce field hockey into more schools and communities across the city, helping lay the foundation for a thriving, sustainable field hockey culture in Texas.

While field hockey has traditionally been more prominent among girls in the U.S., we are also deeply committed to fostering the growth of boys’ field hockey, offering dedicated opportunities for boys to engage with and excel in the sport. Our long-term vision is to help make field hockey accessible and appealing to all young athletes in Houston — regardless of gender, background, or experience.
