PROFILE
Jenny Lounsbury has been playing field hockey since her freshman year in high school in 1997, competing for two years on junior varsity and two years on varsity, all as the starting goalkeeper. She continued her athletic career at Utica College where she was a starter for 2.5 seasons, leading the team to the NYSWCAA Championship title in her junior year and a 15-3 record her senior year, including national rankings as high as #10 and an appearance in the semifinals of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic tournament. She earned several accolades in her time at UC, including Empire 8 All-Conference First Team, North Atlantic Region First Team, and North Region Senior All-Star. She currently holds the career records at UC for save percentage (0.828), goals against average (1.35), and shutouts (14). She has been a part of the USA Field Hockey Masters program since 2020 and in 2024, she represented the USA at the Masters Indoor Cup in Nottingham, England, as part of the Over-35 team and then again at the Masters Outdoor World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa, as part of the Over-40 team. Additionally, she has been the Goalkeeper Coach for Houston Velocity and Head Coach for Lamar HS, since 2021.
